Digestion & Gut health

Your digestive system is the foundational epicenter of your entire well-being. A healthy gut absorbs vital nutrients, houses most of your immune system, and acts as your primary barrier against environmental toxins. When this delicate ecosystem is disrupted by stress or poor nutrition, it triggers widespread inflammation and chronic health issues across your entire body.

Leaky gut & inflamation

our intestinal lining is a sophisticated barrier designed to let nutrients pass into your bloodstream while keeping toxins and pathogens out. When this barrier becomes irritated and inflamed, these tight junctions loosen and allow microscopic particles to escape into your circulation. Your immune system immediately flags these particles as invaders, triggering chronic systemic inflammation that disrupts health throughout your entire body.

When your intestinal barrier is compromised, it commonly triggers:

- Digestive Distress: Recurrent bloating, gas, abdominal discomfort, and unpredictable bowel habits.

- Food Reactivity: Sudden sensitivities or intolerances to foods you used to digest easily.

- Systemic Depletion: Persistent joint pain, chronic muscle aches, and heavy brain fog.

- Skin Flare-Ups: Inflammatory conditions like acne, eczema, or unexpected rashes.

True recovery means moving past temporary aids to actively rebuild and seal the gut barrier. Support involves identifying dietary triggers, lowering chronic stress, and utilizing targeted nutrition to reduce inflammation so the intestinal lining can repair itself.

SIBO - Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrow

Small Intestinal Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) is a form of dysbiosis where bacteria multiply in the wrong part of the digestive tract, the small intestine. These bacteria produce gases and toxins that cause issues both inside the gut and beyond it. Depending on whether you have hydrogen, methane, or sulfur producing bacteria, your symptoms will vary and your treatment must be customized. SIBO can be easily detected using a simple breath test that you can complete right at home.

Common symptoms of SIBO include:

- Severe Bloating: Experiencing intense swelling especially after consuming fibers and carbohydrates.

- Altered Motility: Dealing with stubborn constipation, chronic diarrhea, or alternating between both.

- Brain Fog: Feeling a persistent mental fatigue and lack of clarity caused by bacterial toxins.

I address SIBO in a holistic way, meaning that alongside treating the bacteria in the small intestine, we actively look for the reasons why the overgrowth occurred in the first place. In the treatment, we dive deeper into potential root causes such as low stomach acid, sluggish bile flow, and estrogen dominance to ensure long term relief and true gut harmony.

Liver health

Your liver is your body's primary filtration system, working constantly to process nutrients, filter toxins, and clear out spent hormones. When it becomes overwhelmed by stress, a poor diet, or environmental factors, its filtration capacity slows down. This allows toxins and excess hormones to re-enter your bloodstream, straining your entire digestive tract. Beyond physical duties, the liver is deeply connected to anger. Constantly raging or suppressing this emotion can lead to hidden physical health issues over time.

When your liver and bile flow become sluggish, it commonly triggers:

- Hormonal Imbalances: Worsened PMS, skin breakouts, or mood swings from recirculating toxins.

Digestive Discomfort: Nausea, bloating, or an inability to properly digest healthy fats.

- Gallbladder Stress: Painful gallstones forming from stagnant bile, which can lead to unnecessary surgeries.

- Emotional Backlog: Carrying unexpressed frustration, irritability, or deep resentment that impacts vitality.

Because we need this organ for detoxification, digestion, and hormone balance, I support the liver in almost all of my clients. True care means optimizing your physical bile flow while creating space to process emotional blockages, protecting your gallbladder and restoring health from the inside out.
