Female health & hormones

Your hormonal health dictates how you feel, adapt, and thrive through every stage of life. When lifestyle stress or environmental factors disrupt this delicate system, it can trigger full body symptoms that leave you feeling disconnected. By looking closely at your unique chemistry, we can gently restore balance and help you navigate life's transitions with ease.

Thyroid health

Your thyroid acts as the main control center for your metabolism, deciding how effectively your body creates energy and maintains warmth. While anyone can develop thyroid issues, women are much more prone to them than men.

This can range from mild over or underperformance to a more severe autoimmune disease called Hashimoto.

When this internal rhythm stalls, your baseline systems slow down, leading to a cascade of subtle but disruptive symptoms.

When this internal rhythm stalls, it commonly triggers:

- Persistent Fatigue: Feeling constantly drained or experiencing heavy brain fog, even with adequate rest.

- Temperature Sensitivity: Frequently feeling cold, especially in your hands and feet.

- Sluggish Metabolism: Experiencing stubborn weight gain and slow, sluggish digestion.

- Physical Changes: Noticing increasingly dry skin, brittle nails, or thinning hair.

True thyroid care means looking beyond the gland itself. To fully support it, we must address the entire ecosystem, including calming the adrenal stress response, optimizing gut and liver health, and providing the specific nutrition your body needs to thrive.

PMOS / PCOS

Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome (PMOS) (historically referred to as PCOS) is a complex,

whole body endocrine and metabolic disorder rather than a simple ovarian issue.

It is primarily driven by underlying insulin resistance and elevated male hormones (androgens), which disrupt the body’s natural communication pathways.

PMOS goes far beyond irregular periods, deeply impacting your energy, appearance, and overall metabolic health.

When these metabolic and endocrine pathways are disrupted, common symptoms include:

- Irregular Cycles: Absent, unpredictable, or highly irregular periods, often accompanied by ovulation struggles.

- Physical (skin) Changes: Stubborn cystic acne, excess facial or body hair, or male-pattern hair thinning on the scalp.

- Metabolic Shifts: Stubborn weight gain, intense sugar or carb cravings, and blood sugar instability.

- Energy Crashes: Brain fog and persistent fatigue, frequently worsened by underlying blood sugar rollercoasters.

Managing PMOS effectively means treating the root causes rather than just masking the symptoms.

True support involves stabilizing blood sugar, optimizing liver detoxification to safely clear excess hormones, and using targeted nutrition to lower chronic inflammation and restore metabolic harmony.

Premenopause, Perimenopause & Menopause

The transition into menopause is a natural journey marking a profound shift in a woman’s biology. This path typically begins around age 35 with premenopause and perimenopause, the years leading up to the final period where progesterone and estrogen fluctuate unpredictably before stabilizing at a lower baseline. This is a major biological recalibration rather than a medical condition to be fixed, and how smoothly your body handles it depends heavily on your stress levels and metabolic resilience.

As your body navigates this hormonal transition, common symptoms include:

Vasomotor Flashes: Sudden hot flashes and night sweats that disrupt sleep and deplete your daytime energy.

Mood and Cognitive Shifts: Uncharacteristic brain fog, forgetfulness, heightened anxiety, or unprovoked irritability.

Sleep Disturbances: Difficulty falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling exhausted, even without night sweats.

Physical and Structural Changes: Noticeable changes in body composition, joint stiffness, dry skin, and vaginal dryness

Supporting your body requires looking at the bigger picture. True comfort and long term vitality come from easing the burden on your adrenal glands which take over hormone production, supporting liver detoxification, and using targeted nutrition to protect your bones, brain, and cardiovascular health.

HPU- Pyroluria, Pyrrole Disorder

HPUandYou Coach

Pyroluria is a metabolic condition where the body produces an excess of biochemical markers called kryptopyrroles.
To safely eliminate these markers, the body must bind them to Zinc and Vitamin B6 before excreting them through urine. This process leads to a chronic internal shortage, as these nutrients are constantly depleted to clear the waste from the system. This lack of essential nutrients can disrupt the metabolism, leading to a wide range of physical and mental symptoms, including:

    - Mental Well-being: High anxiety, depression, and difficulty managing stress or emotions.
    - Physical Vitality: Chronic fatigue, poor coordination, and sleep disturbances.
    - Cognitive Function: "Brain fog" and difficulty concentrating.
    - Digestive Health: General sensitivities and gut issues.

This metabolic disorder presents with a wide variety of symptoms. It is important to understand that one does not need to experience every symptom to be affected. Every individual reacts differently to the underlying nutrient deficiency.

Recognizing how many people (especially women) are affected by this condition,
I became a certified HPU consultant and coach.
